Celebrated this year, the 100th anniversary of the premiere of the film Nosferatu. A Symphony of Horror directed by F.W. Murnau became a pretext to creatively use the character of the vampire - Nosferatu and to explore the phenomenon of tyranny in contemporary theatre.

The starting point for working on Tyrant is the problem of using other people for your own purposes, preying on their energy and ideas. The creators want to make fun of the dependencies that exist not only in the theater, but in every closed world.

In the performance, they will focus on the relationships between the director and the actors, between the playwright and the director, actors and the viewer, etc. The figure of Nosferatu will be a symbol of the tyrant- director who sucks the creative energy out of the actors. Vampirism will be framed here in the context of a community of a certain desire: the desire to transcend one's own mortality, the desire to have power, to take handfuls from others and not to account for it.
