Ballads and Romances is a theatrical realization of Mickiewicz's ballads in the convention of group pantomime and an attempt to transfer them into the language of the theater of movement. The huge pantomime potential inherent in Ballads..., i.e. strong and expressive characters, mystery, fantasy and horror, are a great pretext to implement them in the form of group pantomime, theater of movement or playing with words.
Three directors - Zdenka Pszczołowska, Błażej Peszek and Piotr Soroka - each prepared one part of the performance, an episode. That makes the presentation of various ways of reading and transferring romantic ideas to the stage.
In the performance, live music is performed by musicians from Wrocław, Magda Pasierska and Szymon Tomczyk
