Final of the Directorial Debut Competition in Pantomime

The final of the Directorial Debut in Pantomime Competition will take place on October 12th and 13th at the Centrum Sztuk Performatywnych Piekarnia of Grotowski Institute. The competition was open to emerging directors to submit their original, previously unproduced theatrical projects where the primary form of expression is the convention of ensemble pantomime. The final stage offers the opportunity to produce a theatrical performance at the Wrocław Mime Theatre, with production work and the premiere scheduled between December 2, 2024, and March 1, 2025.

Before that, we invite our audience to see presentations of the three best selected submissions. On October 12th and 13th, the audience will have the deciding vote to choose one project. After the presentation of short forms based on the submissions, there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the selected creators and, ultimately, cast a vote for the best concept!
