In August, the Wrocław Mime Theater will play the „Paper Hunters” during the Leonid Yengibaryan International Mime Festival in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia.

August 13 on the festival stage in Tsaghkadzor, the Wrocław Mime will perform a play directed by Zbigniew Szymczyk, which was inspired by the Kafka’s „Castle”. The main protagonist of the performance is a mysterious K. – a typical everyman, a hero enslaved and lost, who faces a personified allegory of power and an official system controlling his actions. Passing through the modes of the official machine K. is falling into an increasingly absurd reality every day, and the struggle with the system seems to be endless.

Leonid Yengibaryan International Mime Festival takes place from 2012. The goal of the Yengibaryan International Mime Festival is to disseminate the best practices of world pantomime, cooperation with world theater, cultural and travel organizations, and international promotion of pantomime art.

Participation in the festival is co-financed by Lower Silesian Marshal’s Office
