The performance of Anna Piotrowska was inspired by Umberto Eco’s On Ugliness.

One of the canonical works of literature, referring to the theory of aesthetics, in which we follow various,

often surprising faces of ugliness, was an impulse to reflect on the relation of beauty and ugliness.

The mutual definition of both these categories and the aesthetization of life in every aspect of it,

direct our attention to the external attributes of man.

This basic attribute is body.
